What is healing but the restoration of a person to a state of wholeness—an integration of body, mind, and spirit?

EMDR Therapy for Trauma and Anxiety

Great For:

  • Trauma resolution

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

EMDR helps you access and reprocess traumatic memories to achieve wholeness. A trauma-focused evidence based practice that utilizes embodied and neurobiology principles to affect rapid change, EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a powerful therapy that helps people heal from trauma and emotional distress. By using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain process and integrate traumatic memories, reducing their emotional charge. It's especially effective for PTSD, anxiety, and other issues such as rigid, negative beliefs about self and the world that stem from past experiences and are still affecting present life. EMDR allows individuals to reframe negative memories and regain emotional balance in a relatively short time. Especially useful for when you “can’t let go”.

As an EMDRia trained- EMDR therapist, I have experience in working with this modality as main modality and adjunct of the therapeutic process. Contact me for a free 15-min consult to see how EMDR can help.

What is EMDR and How Does It Work?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful, evidence-based therapy for trauma and anxiety. It helps the brain process disturbing memories and form new, adaptive beliefs.

EMDR for Trauma, Anxiety, and Grief

Many people come to EMDR feeling stuck in loops of fear, shame, or loss. Whether you’re healing from childhood trauma, medical trauma, or a recent loss, EMDR can help you move forward.

Integrating EMDR with Somatic Therapy

I combine EMDR with somatic practices to support nervous system regulation, body awareness, and lasting integration — especially helpful for complex trauma and dissociation.

In-Person & Telehealth Options

You can access EMDR therapy either in my Marin office or via telehealth if you’re located anywhere in California. Both are equally effective — we’ll choose what feels safest for you.
